Counter-Mapping: tracking your chakras 🌀👄🌀

When tasked with counter-mapping anything of my choice, I decided to look into the effects of audio frequencies on chakra activation. I first layered the frequencies associated with each of the eight chakras: root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third-eye, and crown. I then put out a survey asking people to track their physical state while listening to the audio. I took these responses and mapped them on myself, primarily using the motion tracking tool in After Effects to illustrate this. I experimented with pixelation and blending styles in TouchDesigner and layered this over the original video.
