tracing rhythmically! – bringing to life subconscious associations between sound, line, and color.

For this project, I was influenced by my own tendency to listen to music while creating and I wanted to see if there was a correlation between the music people listen to and their visual ouputs. I designed what I like to call a scribble-book as a space for people to mindlessly draw as they listen to specific genres of music. I ended up gathering some of my classmates' drawings through a survey and placed them in a virtual gallery using OnCyber. Here is a look at the booklet, the gallery space, and one example of the drawings I collected.
