get inked. – A deep dive into tattoos

For my third year graphic design intensive class, we were asked to design a 100-page book on any topic of our choice. This was a semester long project for which I developed three iterations leading up to the final book. As someone who has tattoos and loves them as a form of self-expression, I've always been curious about the history and processes involved. This was honestly such a rewarding project, as I got the chance to truly delve deep into the topic and experiment with different forms of image-making. I also fully believe get inked. was the start to my obsession with scanning as a form of documentation.
