I Fly Even in the Afterlife

For this project, I wanted to examine skeletal systems and found a sculpture of a bird's skeleton. After photographing the structure of the wings and adding a mirrored effect to the photo, I drew it out using charcoal. I thought that the entire process of me examining the bird skeleton and recreating it felt like I was bringing it back to life, hence the name of the piece.
