Contemporary
For this project, I wanted to explore something I was unfamiliar with and photograph it to turn into a book. I thought of contemporary dance, as it's something I love watching but don't have much knowledge about. As it turns out, I wanted to focus on sequence through this book, so I decided to show different stages of a common movement seen in contemporary dance. I loved that this project gave me the opportunity to focus on studio photography, as I got to play around with lighting and color for the first time.
